Results Round-Up

The Bulls' safety gap is down to seven points, but with a game in hand, after Barnet won at Burton. The Bees were 1-0 down at half time but Steve Kabba contributed four goals to win the game 4-1 moving the Bees to 38 points, two behind the Brewers. With Stockport losing 2-0 at Wycombe they remain bottom on 35 points with just six games left. Northampton are next on 42 points after losing 3-1 at Accrington, while Bradford stay on 44 points after losing 2-1 at Stevenage.

At the top Chesterfield are 11 points clear after beating Port Vale 2-0, with Tuesday's visitors Wycombe second and Shrewsbury, 4-1 winners over Macclesfield, third. Bury shook off the loss of boss Alan Knill with a 3-0 win over Oxford to hold fourth with Stevenage and Torquay, 2-0 winners over Lincoln, moving above Gillingham in the play-offs. Southend's play-off hopes are all but over after a goalless draw with Aldershot left them nine points short, while Rotherham's chances are fading after losing 1-0 at home to Morecambe.

Result of the day, however, goes to Crewe. The Railwaymen scored eight times at home for the first time since 1932 in hammering Cheltenham 8-1, with both Clayton Donaldson and Joel Grant bagging hat-tricks.

In the Conference Crawley's march to the title continues with a 1-0 win over Darlington. They can seal the title with just six more points after Luton drew 3-3 with Kidderminster meaning the Hatters can only get to 95 points, five more than Crawley's current total. The draw also means Harriers slip out of the play-off spots after Fleetwood beat Tamworth 2-1, while Forest Green moved to within goal difference of safety with a 3-0 win over Histon.

At the foot of League One Plymouth were not playing, but Swindon drew 1-1 with Hartlepool to cut their safety gap to six points. Bristol Rovers beat Yeovil 1-0 to move level on points with Walsall, and just one behind Dagenham. The Daggers lost 2-1 at Exeter, while Walsall were also having a day off.
