Accrington benefactor Ilyas Khan is now the major shareholder in the club after the warring parties finally resolved the ownership of the club.
Former chairman Eric Whalley finally sold his shares to Dave O'Neill, two years after agreeing a deal, who then gifted them to the club. Khan takes ownership as a nominee of the club but will look to dispense the shareholding to a wide range of people.
Khan says he will clear all of the club's current debts, including player wages, and look to spread the ownership so that no one person can control the club's financial future.
