Graham Turner has loaned Steven Leslie to Hereford United for the next month.
The 23 year old midfielder will be available for the Bulls trip to Southend tomorrow.
Leslie hasn't featured for Shrewsbury recently and Turner feels the move will be beneficial to both clubs.
"The move will hopefully see Steve get some regular football as he's dropped down the pecking order here at present," Turner told the Shrewsbury OS.
"Hereford have got a number of tough looking games coming up so hopefully Steve can help them to get some positive results.
"Steve has shown at times what he is capable of but he needs to show that on a more consistent basis and hopefully a run of games with Hereford will help that."
The loan is for an initial month but there is an agreement that if it gets extended then Leslie will not be eligible to play against Shrewsbury when they travel to Edgar Street at the end of April.
