Plymouth consultant Peter Ridsdale is to step back from the day-to-day business of the club after a dispute with the board. Some of the existing board want to remain at the club, but Ridsdale believes they should all leave. Ridsdale will continue to talk to investors, and will present options to a Friday board meeting where a decision on Administration will be made.

Peterboro have offered a 'Chairman's choice' season ticket - for £15,000. Claimed to be the most expensive season ticket in the world, the ticket gives the holder a Directors Box place and all the free pies they can eat. The ticket also comes with the title of 'Honorary President'. Gary Johnson has been named as the 3/1 bookies favourite for the Northampton job. Also quoted are Steve Guinan at 20/1 and Simon Davey at 25/1.

Barnet have signed midfielder Mark Byrne from Nottm Forest on loan until the end of the season, and taken Crystal Palace's teenage full back Matty Parsons for a month. Byrne spent the first half of the season at Underhill. Morecambe's players are to pay for one of the free coaches on offer to take their fans to their crunch match at Barnet as a gesture of thanks for their support.
