March 18th has been good to The Bulls

As Hereford United prepare for tonight's League 2 match at Southend, it's worth noting that 18th March has provided generally good results over the years.

Since the mid-eighties, The Bulls have played six matches on this day yielding four wins, a draw and just one loss.

Way back in 1978, Bradford City were defeated 2-1 at Edgar Street while 1987 shows the only loss when Rochdale sneaked a single goal win at The Street.

The 1989 home fixture against Leyton Orient finished all square but the 1995,2000 and 2006 games against Scarborough (Dean Smith brace on his 24th birthday), Forest Gump and NC Burton Albion all ended with The Bulls victorious.
