Bury will be a hard game says Pitman

Hereford United manager Jamie Pitman is well aware that Bury are on a decent run of form. Last Tuesday they defated Shrewsbury 3-0 at the New Meadow. But he feels that the Bulls can take on the so-called better sides in the League.

"We know we can compete against the better sides," Pitman told the Worcester News.

"We have only lost one league game in 11, although we have drawn a few too many, but it’s given us plenty of confidence to compete with most teams in this league.

"It was an impressive result at Oxford. The players did everything we asked them to and put into practice what we had worked on.

"Bury are going well and have been knocking on the door for a while now. They are a decent side and it’s going to be a hard, competitive game."

With Harry Pell available from Bristol Rovers for another month, Pitman has a virtually fully fit squad to choose from for the game.

Only Dan Connor, Ryan Valentine and Rob Purdie are not available.
