Bulls Supporter talks about 'Stansfield' Tour

Hereford United supporter Adam Wright has been talking about the tour around 92 Premier and League grounds he made with four other football fans in aid of the Adam Stansfield Foundation.

"It took 77 hours and 28 minutes," Wright told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"First of all it was an idea to do something interesting. Then Adam Stansfield passed on we wanted to give something back.

"We've probably raised over £1000. We are still working on setting up a donation page to get the money in.

"We've also collected quite a few shirts, signed footballs and other memorabilia which we intend to auction off over the summer.

"Every ground we got to was out of the car and have our photograph taken. We've all got the equivalent of jet-lag. Our bodies don't know whether it's day or night.

"We left Edgar Street 4am on Wednesday and arrived back at Edgar Street last Saturday morning.

"The idea was to have a kip before the Barnet game and pre-match hospitality but the most important thing we wanted was a nice hot bath. 77 hours non-stop, we weren't the freshest. Five people in a medium sized car but it still got a bit squashed at times.

"We had Exeter City's mascot with us in the car. He cheated a bit as he didn't keep the head on."
