The Bulls' bid for Kidderminster's Chris McPhee failed because the player wouldn't commit to training with the Bulls full time.
McPhee currently trains only twice a week with his teammates, spending the rest of the week at Exeter City. The Worcester News reports the player was unwilling to train full time with the Bulls, quoting chairman David Keyte as saying: “We had an offer accepted by Harriers but the player was happy with his current arrangement.”
Kidderminster's hopes of a takeover suffered a blow when chairman Mark Serrell was taken ill. He was rushed to hospital at the weekend, halting talks over a potential sale. A second bidder has made themselves know, fronted by the club's former main sponsor.
