McPhee Considers Kiddy Exit

Bulls target Chris McPhee says he and his Kidderminster teammates will review their situation today with their wages still unpaid.

McPhee joined the Harriers after a similar situation at Weymouth saw the 27 year old become a free agent. He told the Worcester News: “At Weymouth, after we hadn’t been paid for around seven weeks we gave the club two weeks’ notice. After that we all became free agents. Depending on what we are told this weekend, I think the players will discuss our options.”

The Bulls' bid for McPhee is said to have been worth five-figures, which Harriers quickly accepted. The player turned the move down, preferring the flexible training with Harriers that saw him spend half his training sessions with Exeter City.

They are expected to receive some, but not all, of their outstanding wages today from Saturday's home match. The game attracted 1,500 supporters, their highest gate for several weeks but less that their current break-even figure.

The supporters trust, KHIST, raised £2,300 through a bucket collection but a statement from them last night stated the club needed £155,000 by Tuesday lunchtime to avoid falling into Administration or worse. The February 23rd court date with the taxman is for just £16,000.
