Wednesday draw with Nine Man Yeovil

Sheffield Wednesday, who play Hereford United in the FA Cup on Saturday, could only draw with Yeovil this evening at Hillsborough.

Referee Trevor Kettle was in good form. By the end of the game he had sent off two Glovers and booked six other players, three from each side.

A Wednesday penalty had to be taken twice and there were nearly seven minutes of extra time in this action packed League One encounter.

Alan Irvine, the Owls manager, made six changes to his side that lost 4-0 at Leyton Orient last Saturday.
