News Round Up

Shrewsbury are reported to have paid £25,000 for winger Mark Wright from Bristol Rovers. New Motherwell boss Stuart McCall says his SPL side made a bid for Fleetwood signing George Donnelly but was financially outgunned by the Conference side. Bradford boss Peter Taylor has told the press he has disciplined an unnamed player for comments made on Twitter.

Lincoln have launched a brochure on the club specificially to attract new investment. The Imps are also giving a trial to former Mansfield midfielder Curtis Shaw, who is currently playing in the Evo-Stik League. Scunthorpe are trialling former Bulls loanee winger Jennison Myrie-Williams, who has left St Johnstone after his short term deal expired.

Scunthorpe have confirmed that former Bulls right back Trent McClenahan is to be released from his short term contract when it expires next week. Lincoln say they will extend the loan of forward Ashley Grimes until the end of the season on Friday. Lincoln's trial of defender Djoumin Sangare has ended after he agreed terms with an unnamed club. Several League Two and Conference sides were believed to be interested in his services. Plymouth have confirmed that the winding order brought against them by the taxman has been dismissed after the outstanding sum was paid last week. They say they hope to clear further arrears shortly.
