Former Bulls loanee Peter Gulacsi is set to be named as part of Liverpool's 25 man Premier League squad for the second half of the season after impressing boss Roy Hodgson while on loan at Tranmere. Michael McIndoe has extended his loan at MK Dons until January 30th. The Coventry winger is expected to make a permanent move away from the Ricoh Arena before the transfer window closes.

Southend have announced the signing of former Cardiff defender Miguel Comminges. The 28 year old full back previously played for boss Paul Sturrock at Swindon. The Shrimpers have released Sofiene Zaaboub by mutual consent. The 27 year old had a contract until the end of the season but has opted to return to Algeria after struggling with injury. Port Vale bidder Mo Chaudry has launched an online petition for fans to sign to back his attempts to take over the club.

Bradford have extended the contract of keeper Lenny Pidgley until the end of the season. Premier Sports have pulled out of a proposed live televised game at Barrow due to the danger of it being postponed. The TV channel has already lost thousands of pounds due to cancelled games that it had booked equipment for.
