The ongoing managerial merry-go-round is set to start spinning again with a series of managers under pressure in League Two.
Along with Aldershot's Kevin Dillon facing calls for his departure, and Mark Stimson already having left Barnet, Stockport's Paul Simpson is rapidly losing the faith of the Hatters' faithful after a sixth straight home game without a win.
Over at Bury, boss Alan Knill has threatened to walk out on the club if their fans continue to boo his side. They were booed off the pitch at half time of their home draw with Macclesfield, with Knill now being linked to the vacant post at Port Vale although he denies any interest.
The Valiants are reported to have a six-man shortlist for their new manager including Jim Gannon, Mark McGhee, and Paul Trollope. Others to have also applied include Gary Peters, Darren Ferguson, Dave Penney, and Steve Staunton.
Meanwhile, over at Bradford, Peter Taylor is reported to have turned down the chance to become no.2 at Newcastle just a couple of weeks after fans were calling for him to go. However three wins from four games in the past month have seen the Bantams rise to within three points of the play-offs.
