Aldershot manager Kevin Dillon has been sacked just 14 months after being appointed.
Aldershot's 2-1 defeat by Oxford United on Saturday was a fourth successive home loss in League Two. On the previous Monday Hereford United won 2-1 at the Rec.
Dillon took charge after Gary Waddock left to manager Wycombe.
Meanwhile Dave Penney has been confirmed as Bristol Rovers' new manager. The former Oldham and Darlington manager has been charged with getting the Pirates clear of League One relegation danger and has been allowed to bring in two or three new faces during the January window.
