Port Vale have confirmed that manager Micky Adams has left the club to join Sheff Utd.
The former Leicester boss leaves after 18 months at Vale Park, signing a two and a half year contract after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed compensation fee. He won 35 of his 81 games in charge, leaving the Valiants second in the League Two table.
