In advance of Saturday's game against Hereford United, Bradford City manager Peter Taylor has told the Yorkshire Post that he feels frustrated. The weather, bad luck and injuries aren't helping he says.
"For me, there really is only one word to sum up the season so far and that is 'frustrating'," he said.
"To be honest, I can't remember a time when I have felt quite as frustrated as this.
"I honestly believe we are just a touch away from being a good side. I really do believe that, and I think with my older years I know a thing or two about football.
"I don't feel we have had a great deal of luck, by that I mean in terms of injuries rather than what has happened in individual games. We have lost key personnel for long periods and also seen several players in the same position get injured at the same time.
"Two experienced full-backs out together, a few of our centre halves out at the same time meaning we have had to bring in young lads on loan – these have been typical of our luck this season. Or rather the lack of it.
"What I will say, though, is I feel confident about the rest of the season. I have seen enough to believe we are very close to getting it right. We have the quality to be a success.
"Certainly, if we had everyone fit and were still in this position (in the table) then I would have no hesitation in saying, 'Forget about luck – we aren't good enough'. But I don't believe that."
