Mansfield have turned their attention to Ilkeston Town's former ground as a temporary home. The ground has been largely disused since the club folded but is still in good order as a local Academy side plays there. Port Vale are claimed to be a target again of local businessman Mo Chaudry, who was an unsucessful bidder for the club in 2003. Chaudry has appeared on Channel 4's Secret Millionaire programme and tried to join the BNP when they had to change their membership rules.
