Five games have been called off today, more than 48 hours before kick off.
Rotherham's trip to Gillingham has been postponed with more than a foot of snow currently on the Priestfield pitch. Port Vale's home match with Stevenage failed a 12.30pm pitch inspection at Vale Park, while Bradford's trip to Aldershot has also fallen with five inches of snow on the Recreation Ground surface.
Southend's home match with Macclesfield has also gone with more snow expected to fall in the area in addition to the ten inches already covering the pitch, while Crewe's home game with Wycombe is also off due to a frozen pitch.
Further matches are expected to be called off soon. Cheltenham say they have two inches of frost in their ground and need a significant rise in temperature to get their match with Lincoln on, but forecasters do not predict it. Accrington are to hold a Friday lunchtime inspection on their pitch ahead of their match with Shrewsbury.
