League Survival more important than Cup - Tilson

Steve Tilson, manager of Lincoln City, has said that being drawn against Hereford United in the next round of the FA Cup shouldn't hold any fear for his players.

"It wasn't the best draw, but it's certainly a winnable game because we could be playing one of the top teams in League One," he told the Lincolnshire press.

"The fact we play them the week before will have little bearing because it's the same for both sides.

"But they are down near the bottom of the league with us and we just have to make sure we give a good account of ourselves."

However Tilson also said that survival in the League was more important than a run in the cup.

"I want to make sure we are still in this league next season and I certainly won't allow myself to be distracted with what is going on in the competition"
