Manset and Fleetwood on Four Cards

Two Hereford United players were given yellow cards yesterday making this season the worst for discipline seen at Edgar Street for many years.

Stuart Fleetwood's card was slightly surprising. It happened after Southend had been awarded a free kick.

It appeared that Fleetwood must have thought Southend had touched the ball as he charged towards it. The referee thought differently and gave Fleets a yellow card for his trouble. Fleets was not impressed. To rub salt into the wound Southend scored from the free-kick.

Manset's card after a melee which appeared to involve two Southend players.

Both Fleets and Manset now have four cards, just one card each away from a one match suspension.
