New Sponsorship Packages at Edgar Street

New sponsorship packages at Edgar Street are to be announced by Hereford United early next week.

The aim is to try and get as many individuals, groups and businesses to to take advantage of the special deals for sponsorship available at the ground.

These deals include match day sponsorship, player sponsorship, and perimeter board advertising.

All the packages will be competively priced and most will have added advantages for the 'purchaser' when compared with previous seasons.

Last season only around half of the players were sponsored. Chairman David Ketye is mindful of this and would much prefer to see virtually every player sponsored even if the cost per player is slightly reduced.

Meanwhile discussions are taking place to decide whether to bring back Billy The Bull who has not been seen at Edgar Street for six or so seasons. Former chairman Graham Turner once said he wasn't keen on mascots but the new 'regime' may take a different view preferring to think that a mascot can help the atmosphere particularily before the beginning of matches.

Finally discussions are also taking place about the VP club. Last season it was taken 'in house' but it is understood that income from the club has decreased so changes may be made.
