Rotherham captain joins The Slops

After a stay of 4 years with The Millers, defender and captain Ian Sharps has left Rotherham to join League 2 rivals Shrewsbury Town.

Ronnie Moore expressed his disappointment at losing his captain saying “We offered him a deal to make him The Club’s second highest earner. We did our best to keep him.”
Sharps joined Rotherham in 2006 following a move from Tranmere
