The Football League have given the green light to the takeover of Stockport by the 2015 Consortium.
A statement from the consortium says that there are some legal issues for the League to resolve but they have the basis of an agreement:
The procedure now is that over the next few days we shall deal with the items required by the Football League; then there will be a period of ten to fourteen days during which the formal exit from administration will take place. Only at that point will the Golden Share be transferred to our company, Stockport County 2010 Limited, and we become the new club owners.
