McDermid to Referee on Saturday at Edgar Street

Danny McDermid from London is set to referee Saturday's League Two game between Hereford United and Bradford City.

The Bulls haven't met McDermid for two season but in December 2007 he officiated in the home game against Lincoln City which the Bulls won 3-1.

Lincoln had Gary Crofts sent off in the game for deliberate hand-ball of a shot from Steve Guinan which was goal-bound.

"It was always going to be difficult to come here against a team with a good home record and who were flying high and to go down to 10 men after just nine minutes made it a real battle," said Peter Jackson who was the Lincoln manager at the time.

To date this campaign McDermid has refereed 26 games and has given out 86 yellow and 4 red cards.

Meanwhile here are the latest odds for the game from Skybet:

Hereford 7/4 Draw 12/5 Bradford 6/4
