Former Kidderminster manager Mark Yates is now at Cheltenham and this evening will be the first time he has come up against Hereford United in a league match.
"It's good that we've got a game so soon after the defeat at the weekend. We should have taken something from the game on Saturday but we didn't and now this evening gives us the opportunity to pick up some points from a club who are in and around us," said Yates.
"Hereford are a decent enough team and they will try to play and pass the ball so we need to try and get in amongst them and really play with high energy. If we can play with drive and enthusiasm then I fancy our chances.
"We're aware of the threats but it's about the way that we play. We've got to set the tempo and make sure we don't let them play their game."
