£40M raised by Help for Heroes

In just 28 months the charity Help for Heroes has raised over £40 million pounds to help rehabilitate military personnel wounded whilst serving their country.

And the Football League have said that clubs will continue to generate funds and awareness of the charity until the end of the season.

This week the FL and all 72 clubs has been praised by politicians on all sides of the spectrum for their efforts.

Meanwhile last Saturday's collection at Edgar Street for the good cause raised £1190.
