Shrewsbury had a £100,000 bid for Barnet man John O'Flynn accepted by the Bees, but the player turned the move down as he did not want to play for them. In a late deal, Port Vale have extended the loan of striker Craig Davies until the end of the season. Cheltenham have turned down the option to sign Bristol Rovers midfielder David Pipe until the end of the season due to financial reasons.

Notts County failed to have their transfer embargo lifted in time to make a deal in the transfer window, but hope to make loan signings before the March deadline. Bournemouth were allowed to make a second loan signing after defender Scott Guyett was ruled out for six weeks with a knee injury. Chester are to meet with the Football League on Wednesday in an effort to secure their parachute payment.
