Former Hereford United winger Jack Macleod could be about to team up with another former Bull Gary Breen at Dundalk.
Manager Ian Foster is to give Macleod a trial on Friday.
Gary Breen has been playing at Galway and Foster has made an offer for him to join Dundalk.
Pre-season games for Dundalk start on Sunday.
