Hereford United may be a few supporters short this afternoon as Hereford Rugby Club are playing Luctonians at the Wyeside, Hereford.
It will be the first time Herefordshire's top two oval-ball clubs have met for eight years and, according to the Hereford Times, well over 1,000 supporters are expected to watch the clash.
Extra bars are being provided and also a pig roast.
How much of an effect, if any, the game will have on the gate at Edgar Street for the game against Torquay remains to be seen.
In any case, with somewhat better weather and a win against Lincoln City last Tuesday, the crowd should be closer to 2,000 than the 1429 who watched the last Hereford United home game.
