Both Accrington and Chester have received winding up orders that have come to light over the weekend.
The taxman is the cause of both, with Chester owing £26,000 and Accrington somewhere around £70,000. Both clubs have already claimed the sums will be dealt with before their court dates. Accrington's financial backer Ilyas Khan told their fans via their main internet forum that the sum would be cleared before the February 3rd deadline, while Morell Maison told the Non League Paper that Chester's sum will be cleared by their January 27th date.
It appears, on this evidence, the taxman is becoming more trigger happy on repeat offenders.
