Schofield wants Robins Job

John Schofield is hoping that Cheltenham Town will appoint him as their new manager. Since former boss Martin Allen left Whaddon Road last week, Schofield has been in charge.

I can't get any more footballing qualifications than I have got," he said.

"I hear all the 'cheap option' shouts, but nobody knows what salary I am on, so how does anyone know it's the cheap option?

"If I'm asked to continue doing it, great. If not and another man comes in I am quite adept at doing any job at the football club."
