Cheltenham "Are Garbage"

Cheltenham Town striker Julian Alsop has confirmed what most people already thought - Cheltenham Town "are garbage".

Speaking to the local press he confirmed: "To be honest we've been garbage. We've been alright in one game and bad in three games, it's got to be the other way round and more than that."

Cheltenham have won only once in 14 games and are still uncertain of the future of manager Martin Allen, who has now been on 'gardening leave' for two months. Temporary boss John Schofield is planning for the January transfer window and beyond: "At the minute I am running the club and I have to have long term plan. Ideally I'd like to bring players in for 18 months and put a base down for what's going to happen so I will start speaking to players who are out of contract."

The Robins have only one player, youngster Marley Watkins, on contract for next season.
