Cheltenham have issued a further statement on the status of manager Martin Allen - saying nothing can be said. The club has 'almost concluded' it's investigation, while they said yesterday that legal issues were preventing them from issuing updates. Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe was denied the chance to speak to Peterboro according to the Posh chairman. Cherries chairman Eddie Mitchell says he asked Howe if he wanted to speak to them and he turned the invitation down. The Posh are claimed to have interviewed Kettering boss Mark Cooper for the job.

Barnet expect to sell winger Albert Adomah in the January transfer window after he rejected their offer of a new contract that would have been the most lucrative in the club's history. Port Vale captain Tommy Fraser has called Stevenage 'cocky from their manager down to the team' ahead of their FA Cup replay. The two sides drew at Vale Park, with Fraser accusing Graham Westley's side of believing they've already won the tie.

Grimsby are trying to sign former Rotherham man Mark Hudson. The midfielder is a free agent currently playing for Gainsborough. Northampton are giving away free tickets to their home match with the Bulls - but only if you buy tickets for the two previous home games as well. Aldershot have named former Forest Green boss Gary Owers as assistant to new boss Kevin Dillon.

Worcester fans have handed in a petition to the club calling for the removal of long serving director Dave Boddy in the latest act of the civil war between the board and a shareholders group. Chester owner Stephen Vaughan is under investigation by the FA over whether he can continue to own the club in the wake of his banning as a company director. The club have a Monday deadline to meet the demands of their football creditors, but none have yet been paid.

Kettering have announced hefty price rises for their FA Cup match with Leeds. A stand ticket will cost £26.50, nearly double the normal rate, with £1.50 from every ticket covering the Police bill. Some of Histon's coaching staff have not been paid for four months. Notts County have loaned keeper Kevin Pilkington to Luton for a month.
