Bulls Only L2 Side In Southern Section

The Bulls are the only League Two side left in the Southern Section of the Johnstones Paint Trophy.

They are joined in the Area semi-finals by MK Dons, Norwich, and either Southampton or Charlton. The Dons beat Northampton 3-1, while Norwich edged past Swindon 5-3 on penalties after a goalless draw. The Saints and Addicks meet on Wednesday night, live on Sky.

In the Northern section only two of the six League Two sides progressed. Accrington beat Bury 3-2, Bradford beat Port Vale 5-4 on penalties, Carlisle won 3-1 at Chesterfield, and Leeds beat Grimsby 3-1 in their latest televised match.

In tonight's other match of note, Chester lost 3-1 at York in the Conference. York move within a point of the play-offs, with Chester remaining 19 points short of safety.
