Bulls go through on Penalties

Hereford United are into the semi-final of the Southern Area Paint trophy after defeating Leyton Orient on penalties.

Adam Bartlett proved just what a good signing he has been when he pulled off three saves in the shoot-out.

The score at full time was 1-1 but the Bulls are through to the semi-finals. Leon Constantine put the Bulls ahead after 25 minutes but Jason Demetriou equalised in the final minute of injury time.

The game went to penalties and the Bulls scored three of theirs with Orient only scoring twice.

The penalty scorers for Hereford were Lowe, Lunt and McCallum.

Full report later.

Update: Also through this evening in the southern section are Norwich who defeated Swindon on penalties and MK Dons who beat Steve Guinan's Northampton 3-1.
