In his post match reaction to their 1-0 defeat at Hereford, Chesterfield manager John Sheridan had a go at the officials. The only goal of the game was a penalty.
"I was to far away to judge, but I had a feeling that something was going to be given and once I saw who the officials were it doesn't surprise me.
"I think that's the most possession we have had all season, but we didn't create that much. People have to be more alert and sharper when the ball gets into the box. We hit the bar and I don't know if Scot was offside or not but sometimes though you have hold your hands up, we just didn't get the breaks
"We come here and dominated the game but again we have come away with nothing. We have to get a winning mentality especially into the younger players. I can't fault the effort and we should have got something from the game. Tommy made a good save but I thought we were comfortable until the referee gave the penalty."
