Trewick relieved to get point

John Trewick told BBC Hereford and Worcester that he was relieved to get a point from the game against Cheltenham this afternoon at Edgar Street.

"I thought we did okay in the first half in patches. Never quite got the game going. But then again they didn't cause us too many problems in the first half either," said the Hereford United manager.

"Start of the second half was poor from our point of view and the inevitable happened. Having said that I was pleased with the way we came back, showed a bit of spirit and got a goal back.

"Obviously Adam Bartlett has made a couple of saves that have kept us in the game.

"So relieved to get a point."

Turning to a couple of the players Trewick continued:

"Adam is a decent keeper, that's why he is here and I'm pleased for the lad.

"Jon Godsmark is a threat. He wants to run in behind people, he wants to get in the box and he's been rewarded with another goal.

"Marc Pugh was injured today. He's been one of our better players. I'm hoping he'll be back for Tuesday."

Asked about whether any new players are expected, Trewick appeared uncertain.

"We're still looking. We're hoping within the next week, ten days, to bring at least one player and possibly two."
