A goal is a goal whenever it is scored said a relieved John Trewick after the Bulls equalised on 89 minutes at Christie Park this afternoon.
"A point on the opening day away from home isn't bad and we can build on it," Trewick told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"We've come here, we've battled hard, we've ended up with a point and the players are a little bit disappointed. I think that says volumes about their expectations.
"If we had played more sensibly up to half-time when we took the lead it might have been different.
"Going in 1-0 at half-time would have given us a real lift and we were a little bit inexperienced and silly playing the way we did after we scored.
"I thought we should have just killed the game a little bit, run down the clock to half-time and then started again in the second half, but we'll learn from that."
