Former Hereford United defender Tamika Mkandawire has been linked with a move to Swansea City from his current club Leyton Orient.
The Daily Mail says that he could move for a fee of about £350,000.
Meanwhile another former player Josh Gowling could sign for Gillingham. He comes to the end of a month loan spell at the weekend and the Gillingham manager has been in touch with Carlisle to see if a permanent deal can be agreed.
