Hereford born Aaron Wildig come on as a sub for Cardiff City in their Carling Cup game against Dagenham last night. The Bluebirds won 3-1.
The 17 year old was introduced after 66 minutes when he took over from the out-of-touch Miguel Comminges.
Wildig is the only one of the seven substitutes selected by manager Dave Jones, all entirely from the club’s youth academy. who has a first-year senior contract. For the time being he will play mainly for the under-18 team.
