Trewick against Eriksson

When John Trewick agreed to become Hereford United's new manager it probably fair to say that he didn't envisage having to pitt his footballing skills against Sven-Goran Eriksson.

However if reports in this morning's papers are correct Eriksson is to be appointed as Notts County's new manager later today.

Last week an Arab based consortium, Munto Finance, took charge at Meadow Lane last week. The new owners say that the appointment of the former England manager is part of their plans to take the club back up the Leagues.

All being well Eriksson will bring his new squad to Edgar Street on Saturday December 5th.
