FA Cup Prize Money Cut

This season's FA Cup prize money has been cut by 10% across the 'proper' rounds.

While the prize money for the preliminary and qualifying rounds remain the same, the prize money on offer from the point the Bulls enter the competition has been reduced:

  • First Round Proper Winners : £18,000 (was £20,000)
  • Second Round Proper Winners : £27,000 (was £30,000)
  • Third Round Proper Winners : £67,500 (was £75,000)
  • Fourth Round Proper Winners : £90,000 (was £100,000)
  • Fifth Round Winners : £180,000 (was £200,000)
  • Sixth Round Winners : £360,000 (was £400,000)
  • Semi-Final Winners : £900,000 (was £1,000,000)
  • Semi-Final Losers : £450,000 (was £500,000)
  • Final Winners : £1,800,000 (was £2,000,000)
  • Final Losers : £900,000 (was £1,000,000)

Meanwhile the Shropshire Star is reporting that the Bulls showed interest in released Shrewsbury right back Ben Herd earlier in pre-season.
