In his latest interview with BBC Hereford and Worcester John Trewick said he is hopeful of more signings shortly.
"There's the possibilty of one in the next day or two and, hopefully, next week possibly another couple," said the Hereford United manager.
"If I could get them done today I would but we have to be a bit patient on that but hopefully there might be something."
Reminder by Trevor Owens that contracts expire on June 30th, Trewick said he fully expected some business to be done in July.
"As far as I'm concerned, the earlier the better, but I would like the whole squad to be assembled and ready to go by the middle of July.
"But I'm realistic to know that might not happen.
"I'm happy with what we've done so far."
Asked if he had enquired about season long loan for players, Trewick said yes.
"I wouldn't mind carrying perhaps two for a season-long loan but certainly I don't want to go down the road of having six or seven if I can help it, but you never know what might develope," he added
