News Round Up

In addition to Jennison Myrie-Williams leaving Bristol City, ex-Bull Chris Weale is also out of contract at Ashton Gate but no decision has been made on his future. Stephen Jennings is also out of contract at Tranmere, with the club expected to be cutting it's budget for next season.

Bristol Rovers striker Rickie Lambert has confirmed he wants to leave the club to try his luck at a higher level. The 29 goal striker reckons he can make it in the Championship. Burton have been refused permission to speak to Oxford manager Chris Wilder about their vacancy. Lee Richardson and Steve Staunton are bookies favourites for the job. A new bidder has made an offer for Bournemouth, with owner Paul Baker hoping to complete a deal by the end of the month.

Former Bulls targer Kevin Ellison and star forward Ryan Lowe are two of six to be released by Chester after their relegation. They've both agreed a termination to their contracts which had a year to run while grumpy - but talented - French midfielder Damien Mozika, who was suspended by the club for allegedly damaging club property, has also been axed.

Eugen Bopp is the latest player to leave Crewe after agreeing a termination on his contract. He is the tenth player to leave since the end of the season. Ex-Bull Danny Thomas is one of fourteen released by Macclesfield. He was one of their brightest players last season, and made the Team of the Week twice in the first half of the season, but faded badly after Christmas.

Dagenham have signed winger Danny Green from Bishops Stortford. The Dagger have confirmed that former Bulls target Ben Strevens is out of contract this summer. Ex-Bull Nicky Law has signed a new contract as manager at Alfreton until 2012 despite missing out on promotion through the play-offs.
