They've both agreed a termination to their contracts which had a year to run while grumpy - but talented - French midfielder Damien Mozika, who was suspended by the club for allegedly damaging club property, has also been axed.
Eugen Bopp is the latest player to leave Crewe after agreeing a termination on his contract. He is the tenth player to leave since the end of the season. Ex-Bull Danny Thomas is one of fourteen released by Macclesfield. He was one of their brightest players last season, and made the Team of the Week twice in the first half of the season, but faded badly after Christmas.
