News Round Up

Peterboro have confirmed that stikers Rene Howe, Scott Rendell, and Liam Hatch are all up for sale after spending most of the past season out on loan. Howe scored 12 in a season at Morecambe, Rendell has 16 goals so far this season, most of them for Cambridge, while Hatch scored 9 in 29 games at Darlington. Stockport assistant boss Peter Ward has confirmed that the players have not been paid for April.

Port Vale's chairman has admitted that Paul Ince is out of their financial league. Micky Adams has joined John Ward in the frame according to the local press. The club have told Kyle Perry he will be released, but the six other out of contract players have not had their futures discussed. Morecambe have released five players including striker Matty Blinkhorn, who started just five games all season due to injury.

Burton are claimed to be tracking Kettering boss Mark Cooper as their first League manager. Brighton have confirmed Russell Slade as permanent manager at the club by handing him a two year contract. Leyton Orient have released eight and offered three new deals. Among those released are Paul Terry, brother of Chelsea's John, and Alton Thelwell. They have also offered a contract to Wycombe striker Scott McGleish, who is out of contract with the Chairboys.
