Turner to return to Shrewsbury

It is expected that Graham Turner, the Hereford United manager, will return to Shrewsbury for a night of nostalgia at the Pro-star Stadium on May 17th.

Turner was player manager at Shrewsbury when, 30 years ago, they were promoted to the equivalent of the Championship.

50 years ago Shrewsbury won promotion out of the old Fourth Division.

Shrewsbury supporters want to remember the events at a celebration night and Turner is expected to be on the guest list.
