Work will start on Southend's new stadium in the summer after they secured all the necessary funding. The 22,000 capacity stadium on a new site will see Roots Hall become a supermarket and housing development. Swindon coach Ady Williams has been given a six month community order after pleading guilty of assault. The club will consider it's legal position before issuing a statement.

Leeds' are facing an arbitration panel today over the way they appointed manager Simon Grayson. The three man panel will consider a complaint from Blackpool that Leeds broke League rules on contracted personnel. Former Crawley owner Azwar Majeed has been jailed for three and a half years for cheating the public revenue. He is said to owe the taxman £700,000.
