Turner to shuffle squad for Swindon

Hereford United manager Graham Turner looks likely to make changes to the starting eleven for the game at Swindon on Saturday. Last Tuesday he dropped Matt Done, Sam Gwynne and Sam Hewson for the game at Scunthorpe.

"We have made a few changes over the last few matches," Turner told BBC Hereford and Worcester. "But what I didn't want to do is sit down at the end of the season and think I should have done something about it, I should have changed the team a little bit.

"There's a few in there who will put their heads in and put their foot in, work their socks off for the cause and that's what we have to have.

"It's easy with hindsight but, with the games coming thick and fast you needs fresh legs. You need fresh faces."

As regards the Swindon game, Turner is well aware that the Bulls need three points if they are to have any chance of avoiding relegation.

"I don't care about the level of performance. We just need the three points out of the game.

"We have to go there with that intention of taking the game to Swindon.

"A draw now is welcome to stop the rot but three points from games are vital to us now in this quest to get out of relegation trouble.

"They are also under pressure and they will be under pressure from their crowd if we can get a good start so all those things will play a part but first of all we have to work a lot harder then we have done over the last four matches.

"The most important thing is to go out there and scrap for the thee points and scrap for our lives in the first division.

"I know we have to work very hard, and I know other teams have to slip up."
