News Round Up

Weymouth have re-appointed journalist Ian Ridley as their Chairman, just days after he said he couldn't go back due to the FA investigation into the club's finances, as head of a new six man board. It is currently unclear how they will be dealing with the club's debt. Grays owner Mick Woodward will quit as chairman in the summer, saying he will no longer bankroll the club.

Yeovil have signed Spurs' teenage duo Jonathan Obika and Andros Townsend. Striker Obika was top scorer in their Academy side last season and played in their UEFA Cup campaign this season, while winger Townsend was in the UEFA squad. Crewe captain Julien Baudet is wanted by US side Colorado Rapids. He is out of contract in the summer.

Macclesfield boss Keith Alexander has been cleared to return to work after a brain scan found no cause for concern. Notts County's Trust have seen three departures from it's board. The major shareholder in the club is split by in-fighting over the claimed secrecy over the club finances with the latest departure claiming: "The Trust is no longer acting in the best interest of its members and I wish to distance myself from its failure to perform its duties."
