Reports from the Stockport fans forum on Thursday night say that an unnamed club employee paid out £14,000 to cover the wage bill. Former owners, and current owners of Edgeley Park, Cheshire Sports have also had to assist the club in paying bills. The forum was told their debts are £1million and the club are negotiating their agreement to share the ground with Sale Sharks, who are also owned by Cheshire Sports.

Forest Green captain John Hardiker has resigned from the club following his suspension for non-footballing reasons. No official reason has been given for the suspension or his departure. Ex-Bull Gary Hooper is to open talks on extending his Scunthorpe contract which has another year to run. Huddersfield are still waiting for international clearance to sign French striker Jonathan Tehoue. His former Turkish club claim he isn't the free agent the Terriers think he is and are demanding a 'crazy' fee. FIFA are to rule on the matter.

A Crewe newspaper reports: 'An insolvency expert has told the Alex chairman eight Football League clubs are likely to enter administration this year ... and he believes Crewe need to act now to ensure they are not under similar threat in future years.'
